Welcome to Vaebryn's Cave!


"Welcome to Vaebryn's cave!!" a mermaid says from beside you. "He's now an Adult! He should be lounging about the other room, right now. So you should be able to get a good look at him. He's a little prankster, that one." She smiles crookedly at you, and rolls her eyes upwards. "He's actually one of the offspring from Flutterby and Braeden's first clutch!! Erica is very proud of her Dragons!" The mermaid smiles at you, and you decide to go peek in on the Dragon.

As you walk into the other room, you look around for a medium sized dragon lying in his nest, or something. Except for the dragon isn't in his nest! You look about some, trying to find him, until you hear a piercing cry directly adove you. You look up, and see a HUGE dragon falling straight towards you from the top of the cave! "AAAAYYYYEEEEE!!!!! You hear in the back of your mind. You drop to the floor, trying to avoid those glistening claws that he has extended! Just as you are expecting the dragon to come crashing down on top of you, NOTHING HAPPENS! You peek out from your fetis position, and look around you some. No dragon to be found! You uncurl from your position on the floor, and look towards the nest. The dragon is calmly sitting on his nest as if nothing had ever happen! He looks at you, and non-chalantly says, "Hi. Who are you?" Slightly surprised that he could act as if he didn't just try to KILL you, you stand in shock for a few minutes.

"Well.. as pretty as I may be, you don't have to stand there and stare, you know." The dragon says, while preening his talons, and chest. "You could at least come over here and talk to me!" He says. "Ah.. right." You say... though you are afraid he might USE those vicious looking claws on you! You walk over to the Dragon nest, and sit several feet away. "Isn't this a wonderful cave?" Vaebryn says, gesturing to the room with his tail, while never taking his eyes off of his cleaning. "Uhm.. Yes.." you answer... not sure how nice a Cave is compaired to a nice warm house. "Yes.. very nice indeed." Suddenly the dragon launches into an explaination about why Dragons use Caves as their homes, what a cave should look like when choosing one, and any other cave knowledge you could ever want! After several hours of listening to the dragon teach you, your brain feels over full, and you decide that it is time to leave. Hey.. but at least you learned something... right? Before you leave you ask the dragon, "Were you actually going to kill me, earlier??" And the dragon only smirks at you, and waves goodbye with his tail.

Personality: Vaebryn is a fun loveing, comidian relief sort of guy, and he doesn't really mean to be. He's clutsy, weird, Pompous, and utterly and completely Depressed. He tries too hard at everything, and it tends to get him down. He's a mixture between Shadow Rose's cat Binx, and her friend Phil, with a splash of something completely unknown. He's insane, bouncy, and loveable, while being a completely hopeless romantic. He'll climb trees and slide down them for fun, he'll bounce rather than fly, He'll wander the Islance of DRAC searching for MEANING to his life, and why oh WHY he's so mopey? He falls asleep in the middle of conversations, and he's always willing to have a good laugh at someone else's expense. But one thing has always been the same. He's deathly in love with Maesilea, and would do anything to keep her happy.
